What are periodic tasks?
Periodic tasks are tasks that need to be carried out again on a regular basis on the same element.
With a periodic task, one recurring task is created. Dipla automatically adjusts the date of this task based on the configured frequency. This means that a new task does not need to be created each time for work that recurs according to a fixed pattern.
All executions remain available in the task registration table. The registration icons on the map and in the task list are automatically updated: they disappear after execution and reappear when the task becomes current again.
The status of a task is displayed on the map using a colour. This makes it immediately clear which tasks require attention:
Blue: the task has not yet been completed, but the execution date has not yet passed.
Orange: the task is approaching the final execution date.
Red: the task is overdue and the execution date has passed.
Green: the task has been completed.
