Project zooms out to the whole world

Sometimes, when you click ‘Zoom to work project’, Dipla may zoom out to the whole world and display the elements twice.

This happens when an element has incorrect coordinates. The exact cause is unknown, but a drawing error can be one possible cause.

This can happen because of an error while drawing or because errors were imported. It is therefore important to check for drawing errors first.

Check for drawing errors

  • Click Project layers and then the Elements tab

  • Select Drawing errors

  • Now check the map: a green + indicates where drawing errors are located.

  • Correct the drawing errors via the drawing window and the Edit button

Contact support

Once the drawing errors have been removed, the incorrect coordinates will still need to be removed in the background. Contact support for this.
